Join the Indigenous Initiatives Office and the Centre for Indigenous Studies for a special screening of Kanatenhs – When the Pine Needles Fall; a powerful short documentary by Katsi’tsakwas Ellen Gabriel (Kanien’kehá:ka Nation, Turtle Clan), reflecting on land, memory, and the central—often overlooked—role of women in the Mohawk resistance at Kanehsatà:ke.
Following the screening, there will be discussion + reflection with Katsi’tsakwas Ellen Gabriel.
