Johanna Superina

Johanna Superina is Senior Vice-President, Investigations, Litigation & Professional Practice, Enforcement Division, at the Ontario Securities Commission having previously held the positions of Deputy Director, Manager and Senior Litigation counsel all within the Enforcement Division of the OSC.  Most recently, Johanna served a 4-year term as the Chair of the Enforcement Committee of the Canadian Securities Administrators (the “CSA”) which is the umbrella organization of all securities commissions across Canada. Johanna joined the Enforcement Branch of the OSC in 1998 after practicing commercial and securities litigation at Stikeman Elliott for 8 years. Johanna has been lead trial, hearing and appellate counsel on a number of leading cases, including matters before the Capital Markets Tribunal. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario as well as at the Supreme Court of Canada in respect of securities related litigation. Johanna also served as a Director of the Advocates’ Society.

Johanna obtained her law degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 1988 and was called to the bar in 1990.
