Mercedes Cavallo

Mercedes Cavallo, LLB, LLM, SJD is an Argentine lawyer and visiting professor who teaches gender and criminal law at Torcuato di Tella University. In 2022, she co-edited the book Autonomia y Feminismos. Her doctoral thesis at University of Toronto theorized spatial elements of women’s inequality under laws governing Bueno Aires.  She also researches methodology to decriminalize abortion in six countries.
