This content assists law students, teachers, lawyers, advocates, researchers and health care providers to promote reproductive justice and the human right to health in their own spheres of influence.
Our Work
We pursue reproductive justice and the human right to health through our scholarship, advocacy and resources for research and teaching.

Our scholarship and editorial work helps law students, teachers, advocates, researchers and healthcare providers understand how laws and policies can be formulated and applied to better
protect sexual and reproductive health, and how to address legal and ethical issues in reproductive health.
Our most recent books are Frontiers of Gender Equality (2023) and Abortion Law in Transnational Perspective (2014).

Through third party interventions, (amicus curiae briefs, expert opinions and testimony), we assist national and international courts, organizations and treaty bodies,to improve laws, policies
and guidelines that promote reproductive justice.
Our contributions have addressed pressing issues, such as abortion criminalization and stigma, anencephalic pregnancy and unethical gender stereotyping in health care, that can be updated and adapted to similar cases in many jurisdictions.

We provide researchers and advocates with court decisions on abortion law, summaries of African court decisions, Reprohealthlaw updates, and annotated bibliographies on key issues
such as adolescents, contraception and pregnancy, rape as an indication for abortion, and the right to conscience in the provision of healthcare services.
For teachers, we share our curriculum and case studies.
