Canadian Appellate Cases

The Asper Centre maintains a curated collection of constitutional law decisions from Canadian Courts of Appeal, highlighting how Charter issues are being litigated in contemporary cases across the country. Many of these decisions are subject to, or may become the subject of, appeals to the Supreme Court of Canada. The collection also includes key Federalism and Section 35 cases.

The yearly archived cross-Canada appellate decisions in this collection are organized by key Charter sections for ease of use. See Archived Years below.

For the most recent cases by appellate court, please follow the 2025 Appellate Cases link.

This collection is continuously being updated.
