Academic Visitors

Jackman Law is a vibrant community of curious scholars, always interested to learn what others are thinking about. We welcome academic visitors to the faculty to contribute to that community and to participate in our lively workshops and colloquia and to engage with our faculty and students in more informal forums.

Academic visitorship is an ideal opportunity for full-time faculty members at other institutions who are on sabbatical, hold a portable research fellowship, or have other funding to support their visit. Academic visitors are not compensated by the University of Toronto.

To apply, please email your expression of interest, including your current CV and a brief letter describing your research and proposed visit dates, to associatedean.law@utoronto.ca. While visits can vary in length, please note that for our academic year begins in September and runs until the end of April. Please submit your expression of interest by 1 March for a visitorship in the academic year beginning the following September.
