Our professors have been honoured with many awards and distinctions, locally, nationally and internationally, recognizing the quality of their scholarship and their contributions to the theory and practice of law.
University of Toronto Awards, like the President's Impact Award, awarded to Professor Mayo Moran in 2025, recognize Law faculty members' contributions within the institution and beyond academia.
Our faculty attract awards and prizes across Canada and nationally. Professor David Dyzenhaus won the prestigious Killam Prize in 2025 for his work on the rule of law.
Law faculty are honoured with prestigious awards and fellowships, such as the Fowler Hamilton Fellowship, Christ Church College, Oxford University, which will be held by Professor John Borrows in 2026.
