Health and well-being
The law school is here to help you thrive by strengthening your well-being and equipping you to navigate challenges. Through a range of resources and programs, we foster resilience and personal growth, and cultivate a strong sense of community, so you feel supported every step of the way.

As a Jackman Law student, you can access support from Accessibility Services to help navigate any disability-related barriers to your academic success. If you have a documented illness or disability, registering with them gives you access to a wide range of supports like learning assessments, adaptive technology, exam accommodations, note-taking services, and more. You can also connect with your On-Location Accessibility Advisor for personalized support related to physical or mental health concerns.

Advising and mentorship
As a law student, you have access to a variety of mentorship programs. Our Peer Mentorship Program (PMP) connects first-year students with upper-year mentors for both academic and non-academic guidance, and our Alumni-Student Mentorship Program connects you with Jackman Law alumni working in a variety of legal fields. These programs offer valuable opportunities for both you and your mentor to grow personally and professionally.
