Supplementing its traditional in-class learning, the Faculty of Law sponsors many workshop series, resulting in over 80 workshops and seminars over the course of the academic year where scholars present and discuss current research and developing ideas. They are presented by notable and upcoming scholars in law and other disciplines from across Canada and around the world. Through these gatherings, students, faculty and practitioners can learn from and exchange ideas with some of the world's outstanding legal scholars.

The Osgoode Society Legal History Workshop is conducted over zoom. Participants include students and faculty in law and history, as well as lawyers and judges. All law students with an interest in legal history are welcome and may also take the workshop for credit.
