
Anthony Mouchantaf
Overview
Anthony is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Biossil Inc., an AI-native, integrated drug developer advancing late clinical-stage therapies for complex and life-threatening diseases. Biossil is supported by leading institutional technology and healthcare venture capital investors in the United States and Canada. In his role, Anthony is responsible for the company’s financing and commercial strategies, legal and intellectual property matters, and overall operations.
Prior to founding Biossil, Anthony served as Head of RBCx Capital at the Royal Bank of Canada, where he developed and led the bank’s venture capital investment strategy. He previously worked as a venture capital investor with OMERS in London and co-founded a venture-backed healthcare company that was acquired by a publicly traded firm.
Anthony holds a JD from the Henry N.R. Jackman Faculty of Law and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management. He began his career in corporate law with A&O Shearman in New York and also worked in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights at the United Nations in New York.
His expertise includes corporate law related to technology startups and venture capital, and intellectual property. He also has a focus on administrative law, with an interest in regulatory reform.
