David Côté

David is an associate at Addario Law Group LLP. His practice includes criminal, regulatory, constitutional and civil litigation.

Before joining Addario Law Group, David clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada for Justice Sheilah Martin and at the Court of Appeal for Ontario for Associate Chief Justice Michal Fairburn and Justice Gary Trotter.

David obtained his law degree with distinction from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. While at law school, he was the Executive Editor of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review, volunteered with public interest legal clinics and published articles on criminal and constitutional law in various legal journals. He was a member of the first place team and top facta at the Wilson Moot.

Before law school, David completed a Masters of Public Policy from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. (Honours) from Queen's University.

David was called to the Bar in 2025.

David is fluent in English and French.
