Joseph Blinick
Joseph Blinick is a corporate commercial litigator whose practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, securities litigation, class actions, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters. He has extensive motion, trial, and appellate experience and has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as courts in British Columbia and Yukon. Joseph is recognized for his strategic, results-driven approach and his ability to manage high-stakes and technically challenging disputes.
His work includes advising on shareholder conflicts, contested transactions, regulatory investigations, and significant restructuring proceedings involving court-appointed officers, creditors, and debtors. In addition to his litigation practice, Joseph serves as an Adjunct Lecturer and Mooting Advisor at the Henry N.R. Jackman Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Toronto Lawyers' Association, the Advocates’ Society, and the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, and is also a registered notary public.
