Kim Byrne

Kim Byrne is a Senior Development Officer with extensive experience in major gifts, relationship management, and strategic advancement within Canadian higher education and the charitable sector.

Prior to joining the Faculty, Kim held senior development and regional roles at Western University and Memorial University of Newfoundland. She previously served as an Executive Director in the community non-profit sector, where she led organizational strategy, fundraising, and operations.

Beyond her professional experience, Kim brings a strong governance and community-engagement perspective informed by her volunteer leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Kim applies a donor-centered, strengths-based approach to advancement, focused on translating institutional priorities into actionable fundraising outcomes and enduring partnerships.
