Law & Development

Law and Development examines the role of legal systems in promoting economic growth, social progress, and institutional reform in less developed countries. This field explores how laws, legal institutions, and reforms can be used to promote economic, political and social development.

The field also covers a diverse range of issues such as poverty and inequality, humanitarian and foreign aid, corruption, healthcare, education, economic and infrastructure development, rule of law and governance, human rights and environmental sustainability.
