- Using your Scotiabank or TD line of credit for the Minimum Tuition Payment
Regardless of your participation in the UofT JD Financial Aid Program, you may be eligible to obtain a Line of Credit loan from our preferred lenders Scotiabank and TD Bank at their special interest rate for our law students.- You might not have access to these Scotiabank or TD funds until after you are officially registered (in mid-late August for all new students, and in early September for continuing upper year students). However, you can still have your tuition fees paid from your line of credit in order to meet the deadline for the Minimum Tuition Payment.
- To do so, you will have to provide Scotiabank or TD with a copy of your fees invoice from ACORN and ask the bank to deposit the required amount directly to your UofT student fees account . This can be done as soon as you have access to your invoice and fee amount in ACORN.
