You have access to both formal supports, like medical and counselling services, as well as informal supports, such as self-care strategies and peer support, to promote optimal physical and mental health.

Medical and dental services
Same-day medical clinic
If you have urgent physical health concerns, you can make an appointment with the same-day medical clinic at the Health & Wellness Centre. If you call the medical clinic in the morning, you may be able to see a family doctor later that day.
Health & dental insurance
As a full-time law student, you have extended health insurance coverage through the University of Toronto's Undergraduate Students' (UTSU) Union Health and Dental Plan. This plan includes additional health benefits such as access to psychological services.
Dental Services
In addition to dental coverage provided through the UTSU's Health and Dental Plan, the U of T's Faculty of Dentistry operates 12 different teaching clinics at reduced service rates.
